- No GRO birth found. GRO ref: not Bermondsey 1869 (son of Charles & Kezia), not Bradfield 1866. NB newspaper report of golden wedding said he was from Kilburn. He was a horse bus driver in London and drove one of the first London motor buses.
In 1871 & 1881 with parents.
At marriage by banns age 25, coachman, bachelor, 4 Oak Grove, Cricklewood (parish of Hendon), signed name, father deceased. Witnesses A and L Wigmore (Arthur and Lou?)
In 1901 census, at 51 Howard Road in Willesden with wife and Flo; in same household, his mother, his sister Louisa and 3 children of sister Elizabeth.
Moved to Eastbourne in 1906.
