In 1861 census, Thomas & Martha MASSEY are in Breedon with 2 children (Joseph 2, John 5 months), she is 23 (should be 33). Both come from Worthington. He is a colliery labourer.
In 1871, Thomas & Martha are in Worthington with Joseph and John. She is age 42. He is a farm labourer. They are living next door to Martha's brother William with first wife Sarah.
In 1881 Thomas & Martha are in Worthington with Thomas' brother and Martha's niece Annie FREARSON age 12 (daughter of William). Two sons.
