      Possible in 1841 census at Grace Dieu Merrell Grange in Belton, probably as a servant. Age abt 20.
      In 1851 census & at marriage in Soho Street, Handsworth.
      In 1861 census, in West Bromwich with wife and 5 children.
      Cup labelled "Corporal J. FREARSON of the Walsall Troop. Q.O.Ry YEOMANRY. 1st prize for swordmanship. Sept. 1868 presented by Capt W Williams".
      Staffordshire Yeomanry (Queens Own Royal Regiment) was formed in 1794, voluntary cavalry unit. Served in Boer War.

      In 1901 census in Harborne age 78, with daughter and 3 grand-daughters.
      Died 1906, age 84. A FREARSON registered the death. Intestate.
